Discover The Wood: A Self-Guided Heritage Walk

Elma Turner Library opening times:

  • Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm, except Wednesdays 10am to 6pm.

  • Saturdays 10am to 4pm

  • Sundays 1pm to 4pm

Free. No bookings required.

Step into Nelson’s past and uncover its history. Explore the Wood residential area on a self-guided loop walk starting from Elma Turner Library. Each stop is featured on The Prow for further reading. A paper map will be provided. The walk takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
